Oddly enough, that was the only song recorded separately from the rest. later date and studio, written to try to generate a "hit" for Warner's. Yes--that song was like the opening cry for our version of the Summer of Love.

I'm with you on this one Ghost.
This is actually one of my favorites of theirs, just because it is different than everything that came after.

Imagine the shock of Anthem being the follow up! While we had heard the first glimpses of, say, The Other One, it was quite mindboggling and seemed to require some special potions to get it. But that first l.p. is still a good example of their nascent sound--especially Viola Lee. True, it didn't capture the essence of the live performances, but it was refreshingly manic, nonetheless.
